How will we use the information about you?

To process your order, we will need the following information from you:

If you place an order with us you will not automatically be added to our mailing list. Your data will be stored in our database for 5 years unless you request it is removed under the General Data Protection Regulation (the right to be forgotten / the right to erasure).

As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to send you newsletters and emails; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. When someone visits we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

If you are buying for a restaurant or for commercial use then you will buy directly from Black Rock Grill or Black Rock Grill USA.

When you purchase from Black Rock Grill, your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in our database.  In order for the goods to be delivered, we will need to pass on your name, address, phone number and email address onto a courier company (DPD, Royal Mail, MyHermes, PikPak, Ameriwold).

Black Rock Grill competitions, contests and sweepstakes

If you enter a competition, contest or sweepstake run by Black Rock Grill you will not be automatically entered into our marketing database. We will not sell your data onto a third party. If your details need to be passed on we will seek permission from the individual – for example, if you win we will want to use your name and details in a press release. We will seek written consent before passing on your details.   When you enter a competition, contest or sweepstake we will ask you for the following information:

  • Phone number

If you win, you will be contacted via email and then by telephone. If you do not consent to our marketing emails your data will be deleted three months after the closing date. If you are buying for a commercial business then we will need to collect a range of data about you and the business to process the order and ensure that the order is suitable for you, for example we may ask for the size of the restaurant / how many covers so that we can make recommendations on the different packages we have available.

How we use your personal information:

  • To process an order
  • Determine appropriate services
  • Send important notices (information about a purchase previously made, changes to our terms and conditions) Because these emails are vital you cannot opt-out of receiving them.

We will not pass on your personal data to third parties without your permission with the exception of couriers we use to deliver the goods to you.

If you send an enquiry to Black Rock Grill via our email address (, our contact form or get a quote form, we will not use your information for marketing purposes. We will keep the enquiry for five years (unless asked to erase before this time). We keep data this long in case we need to refer back to a previous order or if there is an issue with an order made.
